IntelaCo, llc is a research and development company that has designed an electronic device to help people with a walking disability called foot drop (or drop foot).
A functional electrical stimulus device sends a train of electrical pulses to the nerve that lifts the foot. The ability to know when to start and stop the stimulus is what sets the Intel A Step apart from other FES devices on the market.
